Why should I buy a compatible cartridge over a genuine one?

All cartridges we supply are all Royal Mail Approved. Therefore, all the our cartridges maintain exactly the same standard as genuine OEM cartridges. Our cartridges provide the same ink quality and ink yield at up to 50% of the price. 

Why do so many customers now use compatible cartridges over genuine ones?

The quality compatible cartridges now offer is the best it has ever been, and is identical to that of a genuine cartridge. Our ink is also Royal Mail Approved, meaning the print quality and yield is equivalent if not better than OEMs. Oh' and our compatible cartridges offer great value for money. 

What is the difference between compatible and manufacturer franking machine cartridge inks?

When ordering from Mailroom Supplies, the only difference is price. All our inks are Royal Mail Approved, meaning the ink quality and yield is the same, if not better  then OEM cartridges.

Will compatible cartridges and labels invalidate my machine warranty?

Using our compatible inks and labels will not effect, or invalidate your franking machine warranty in anyway. 

‘In 2005 The Office of Fair Trading ruled that the major franking machine manufacturers could not dictate to their customers that only their own supplied ink cartridges could be used. The market was opened up to trade quality compatibles which would not breach service contracts or warranty.’

I have been told that using a compatible cartridge could damage my franking machine?

This is incorrect. All our cartridges are Royal Mail Approved, and maintain the exact same standards to that of OEM cartridges. Our cartridges will not damage your machine. 

Will I notice any difference between a compatible cartridge and that of a genuine one? 

No, all our cartridges are Royal Mail Approved, and have undergone numerous standard tests to ensure quality is the same as genuine if not better.  

How quick are cartridges delivered?

What shall I do with my used cartridges?

All cartridges come with a free returns label and bag. Simply place all used cartridges in the posting bag attaching the return label, and drop off at your local post office. Or, if you have a Royal Mail collection cartridges can be collected with your daily post. 

Can I set up an account with Mailroom Supplies and pay by invoice? 

Yes. Once you have selected your products and are in the checkout/payment section of the website (once you have input delivery details) you can select to pay by invoice and you will be invoiced for goods upon delivery. Please note, payment for invoice accounts is 14 days unless otherwise stated. 

I am not sure what cartridge I need?

This is not a problem, and can sometime be confusing when ordering for the first time. If you would like assistance please email us and one of our helpful representatives will talk you through what we require to supply the correct cartridges or labels. sales@mailroom-supplies.co.uk
